Get ready for the third World Pickleball Day - let's make 2023 the biggest ever!

10.10.2023 World Pickleball Day.  A day designed to increase awareness of pickleball and introduce the game to new players, globally.

Dear Country Associations & Federations

Recognise World Pickleball Day by encouraging your regions and clubs to organise something for the day that will create awareness of pickleball and/or introduce the game to potential players.

You can either use the tool-box items or you could create your own materials (using the World Pickleball Day logo) for use in your country.

Create a countdown to World Pickleball Day, to encourage your members to develop their plans.

Create a summary/round up of the activities that took place in your country – this is then a lovely show case for your members, social media, partners.

It would be fantastic if Associations/Federations could find a way to keep track of the number of new players that are introduced to the game as a result of World Pickleball Day.

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE – we have updated the logo for this year to include other landmarks.

The First World Pickleball Games will take place in 2024

We are currently looking to appoint new committee members to help bring to fruition the first World Pickleball Games.  If you are interested, please email with details of your experience hosting big tournaments or events to info@worldpickleballfederation.org.

WPF World Pickleball Games is the first true team competition in pickleball, where each competing country’s federation selects a minimum of 8 players (4 men, 4 women) & maximum of 12 players plus a coach to represent their country in the competition.

This competition demonstrates that pickleball is getting ready for the Olympics.

The team format consists of men’s doubles and singles, women’s doubles and singles, along with mixed doubles.

Pickleball has always been represented by both men and women in tournaments. WPF will continue to reinforce this tradition in team competition as it is unique to pickleball.
